10:26 pm - Tagged by banefire... A. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself. B. Tag seven people to do the same. C. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it." 1. I recently finished sewing myself a summer dress. Of course, it took me six months to do so and we're now facing Autumn, but lets not get bogged down with details, ok? I'm still knitting the jumper I started the Christmas before last. The point here: I like to do crafts sometimes, but never really have the time. 2. I also like to write in the spare time I do not really have. Poetry, sometimes, or ideas for short stories or novels - occasionally entire short stories, fully formed in my head. 3. Really, I live in my imagination. On the bus, the ferry, in the waiting room, during a quiet time, over a meal - chances are, I'm probably not in the 'real world'. 4. I used to have a cat. I now have a dog. Both species are wonderful in their own way (though I've been lucky with both my pets), which, in my opinion, puts the lie to the theory that you can only like cats OR dogs. 5. I can't remember what it feels like to NOT be tired. I can, however, say that I last felt well-rested sometime in 2002. 6. I love stylish clothes. Things that look gorgeous on. However, I am an eminently practical sort of person, and generally go for sensible things rather than pretty things. Therefore, this desire for attractive clothes sometimes breaks out of me and I end up with items so IMPRACTICAL I cannot wear them, no matter how good they look. Heels that kill my feet after 200m are the main offenders, however handbags and other items such as hats (which, for some reason, have never suited me) often commit the same crime. 7. I've got Irish blood. On this I blame my love of alcohol, my swearing, my fantasy world of a brain and my love of the colour green. Amongst other things. I'm very fond of my Irish blood! I have harboured a desperate yearning to see Ireland for most of my life. One day I will, at the very least, visit. And that's a promise. 10:24 pm - New Comp I've got a laptop! *Does happy dance* It's just for work, so the specs aren't fantastic (I could only afford entry-level) but I'm ok with that, I've still got the desktop! Current Mood: ecstatic

My current userpic is one of them - this time I actually took four instead of just drooling over them. The official credits are in the 'comments' of the pictures applicable.
